Nina Mae Bourgeois

Nina Mae Bourgeois, age 89 of Vidor, TX, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Beaumont, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor, TX with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bourgeois was born on March 7, 1925 in Church Point, LA to the late Elmira Daigle Beaugh and Milton Beaugh. She was a homemaker who loved her enormous family and especially cooking for them. Nina was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lloyd Bourgeois, Sr. and son-in-law James Berry.

Survivors include her five sons; Lloyd Bourgeois and his wife Sharon of Lumberton, TX, Burl Bourgeois and his wife Judy of Waco, TX, Rudy Bourgeois and his wife Marta of Chicago, IL, Lyn Bourgeois and his wife Betty of Vidor, TX and Michael Bourgeois and his husband Mike Boucher of Santa Barbara, CA. Two daughters, Francine Berry of Woodville, TX and Rhonda Wheeler and her husband of Howard of Waco, TX. One brother, Leon Beaugh. Twenty six grandchildren; Dorothy B. Hevrin, Joe D. Bourgeois, Tina Truax and her husband Kurt, Crystal Kieran and her husband Dan, Tiffany Schmutz and her husband Sterling, Regina Bourgeois, Michelle Fisher and her husband Samuel, Jared Bourgeois and his wife Danielle, Adam Bourgeois and his wife Lisa, Isacc Bourgeois and his wife Kelsey, Peter Bourgeois, Jason Bourgeois and his wife Kristin, Daniel Bourgeois and his wife Mandy, Joel Bourgeois and his wife Romi, Clay Bourgeois and his wife Aubrey, Alan Berry and his wife Eve, Scott Berry, Josiah Wheeler and his wife Angie, Jonathan Wheeler and his wife Christie, Caleb Wheeler, Laura Desselle and her husband Mike, Rebekah Alexander and her husband Aaron, Nathan Wheeler and his wife Reese, Joshua Wheeler and Abigail Wheeler.
