Pete Dominick, Jr., 83, of Beaumont passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born on October 31, 1929 to his parents Pete and Mary Dominico who preceded him in death. Pete was a firefighter with The Beaumont Fire Department and a United States Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of The Italian American Society and involved with The Commodores Association. Pete made numerous charitable contributions to The Texas State Troopers Association and The Beaumont Police Department. Along with being a licensed HAM Radio Operator, he had hobbies that included flying remote control airplanes, fishing, and hunting. Surviving Pete are his son Dale Ray Dominick of Beaumont, three daughters: Martha Faye Barrow of Beaumont, Mary Kaye Haynes of Lumberton, Alana Darlene Ingram of Vidor, two brothers John A. Dominico and wife Carol of Beaumont, and Joseph Domenico and wife Judy of Bevil Oaks. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Dominick will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Beaumont. Visitation will be on Friday September 27, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
