Robert was born August 7, 1944 in Beaumont, Texas to Arleen Vernon Boring and Laura Josephine Songe Boring.
He is survived by his mother, Laura Boring; daughters, Angela Dickerson and Donna Rankin; sister, Betty Jo Teel; six grandchildren; two nephews and numerous friends and family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, September 24, 2012, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with a Graveside service to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
