Severiano Reynaldo Mijes

Severiano Reynaldo Mijes, 59, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at his residence. A native of Tampico, Mexico he has lived in Beaumont for 35 years and was a self-employed flooring contractor. Severiano enjoyed playing music and spending time with his family.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at La Iglesia Apostolica Church, 777 North 4th Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701.

Severiano was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Hortensia Mijes, and his brother, Geronimo Mijes.

Severiano is survived by his loving wife 20 years Felipa Mijes of Beaumont, son, Jorge Mijes and his wife Dora of Beaumont, daughters, Haydee Ventura and her husband Urias of Beaumont, Karina Urbina and her fiance' Jesus Torres of Port Arthur, and Dayana Mijes of Beaumont, brother, Jose Mijes of Tampico, Mexico, and his 6 grandchildren: Jimena, Josue, Josias, Jordan, Jolene, and Yahir.

Severiano will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
