Suzan Shardelle Arceneaux, 64, of Kountze, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence. A native of Orange, she was a longtime resident of Kountze, and was a homemaker.

Suzan loved to fish, bird watching, cooking Chicken-n-Dumplings, and being with her family.

A Celebration of Suzan's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A Gathering of Friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the funeral home.

Suzan was preceded in death by her parents, Durwood Mitchell and Arsula Hodge, Sr., and her brother Durwood Mitchell Hodge, Jr.

Suzan is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jay Arceneaux and her son Jayson Paul Arceneaux both of Kountze, and her daughter, Amanda Leigh Arceneaux and her partner Katlyn of Beaumont.

Suzan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
