Troy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and raising chickens and rabbits, and he had a love for his dogs. Above all else, his greatest accomplishment and deepest pride was marrying the love of his life, soulmate, and best friend, Thelina “Tina” (Barton) Harper. They were united in marriage on December 22, 2012, and shared a love that was truly extraordinary. Though their time together was far too short, just shy of 12 years, their bond was one that many admired, full of devotion, laughter, and unwavering companionship. They were happiest side by side, a perfect match in every sense of the word.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his unwavering devotion to his family, and the genuine way he connected with everyone he met. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he gave will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and cherished him. He will be profoundly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Troy is now where he has longed to be...reunited with his beloved Tina, resting peacefully at the feet of Jesus.
