Windell L. Eaves, age 85 of Beaumont, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015 in Beaumont. Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Digmon officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Windell was born on December 14, 1929 in Belmont, Louisiana to Jessie and Janie Eaves. He served in the United States Army and was a faithful member and Deacon of Dawndale Baptist Church. Windell was a retired Boilermaker from Local 587.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Eaves, his parents and granddaughter, Ashley Eaves Quinn.
He is survived by his sons, Donald Eaves of Beaumont, TX and Ronald “Tiger” Eaves and wife, Debbie Wester, of Beaumont, TX. Daughter, Sandra Williams and husband, Gerald, of Kountze, TX. Sister, Nell Durbin and husband, Leroy, of Beaumont, TX. Grandchildren, April Eaves, Dewey Eaves, Jonathon Bargainer and Cinnamon Cappel. Great grandchildren, Alexandria Eaves and Jaden Quinn. And numerous nieces and nephews.
