Yvonne Duke, 90, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home. Yvonne was born October 10, 1921, in Joaquin, Texas to James and Lula Majors and has lived the past three years in Silsbee and was a former resident of Beaumont & Lumberton. She was a homemaker and a member of North End Baptist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Betty Jo Sorrell of Lumberton and Janice Teel and husband James of Beaumont; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will begin on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at 9 a.m., with a chapel service to follow at 10 a.m., at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
