Aaron Richard Williams was born February 13, 1993, the third child of Jodi and Marion “Dennis” Williams. He joined brothers Justin and Brandon in their Hillsboro, OR home with Vanessa, Christina and Nathan later rounding out the family.
Aaron lived his life in the Hillsboro area, attending Century High School. His work career started under the guidance of his uncle, Eddie Nickens, in HVAC. Not only did he learn how HVAC systems worked, and how to install and clean them, he learned valuable life lessons and skills that can best be grasped working with family. He continued to work in the HVAC field until he got into parts and quality control for a larger company. Aaron decided that it was time to join the Intel family and get some goals checked off his bucket list. Once hired, he began to love his job, putting his scientific and measuring skills to the test daily. Learning quickly, he took many detailed notes, as any hard worker would. He was especially excited when he recently passed the Intel Level 2 board tests with flying colors and was looking forward to returning to work. The work was tough, but Aaron loved it and was praised by his boss for being a hard worker and never being late.
In the last few years, Aaron had taken up a new hobby: cooking! He started experimenting with making baked chicken and rice, and worked his way up to making steak and asparagus. In between were meals such as his chicken soup casserole and makeshift enchiladas. He was especially proud of the stuffed peppers he made. Even though everyone made fun of Aaron for cooking his steaks well-done, he knew what he liked and didn’t let anyone’s opinion sway his thoughts about his food.
Other hobbies included playing the guitar – especially when he played with Justin either in person or over the phone, playing Fallout: New Vegas and other games with his brothers and friends, spending time at the beach with wieners to roast over a roaring fire while watching the sun set, collecting video game memorabilia and taking hikes around Portland. Two years ago, a long-held wish came true when he purchased a German Shepherd puppy, Ranger. The weekly boxes from Chewy.com were looked forward to by both of them! Ranger really lived up to the meaning behind “man’s best friend” to Aaron.
Aaron dealt with cancer for nine years, though few knew he was ill. On July 25, 2023, Aaron went to be in the arms of his Jesus, leaving behind his mother, Jodi Williams, brothers Justin Williams (Steffini), Brandon Williams and Nathan Williams and sisters Vanessa Williams and Christina Chandler (Amar), grandmother Rosalie Nickens, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends and his beloved dog, Ranger, and cat, Canaan. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion “Dennis” Williams.
Aaron will be remembered for his infectious laugh, the red bandanas he wore, the good advice he would give, his honesty and passion but, most of all, for the unfailing love and support he gave to his family and friends.
