Alex attended school in Germany during World War II.
She and her husband, Ron, were married in 1965, in Reno, Nevada.
Alex owned and operated Continental Delicatessen in San Jose, California for 10 years. They moved to Portland in 1988.
She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Beaverton.
Alex enjoyed reading & also enjoyed a good glass of German beer.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Dill; sister, Gisela Trent; numerous nieces & nephews in the United States and Germany.
Mass of Christian Burial will be October 17, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Beaverton. Private burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
