Bryce was born in Artesia, California on October 12, 1989, to Tom and Jill (Thomsen) Miller. Bryce was a gentle giant who loved to tease, smile and laugh. He had many interests but the foremost for him were World of Warcraft (WOW), fishing for anything (loved salmon and steelhead), camping, movies and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. And lately he had perfected a killer Russian accent. “If you know what I mean”!
He was a sports fanatic:
• Diehard Red Sox’s fan, loved the SF Giants, hoped for the Twins and despised the Yankees.
• Diehard Eagles fan, hoped for the Vikings and despised the Packers, Cowboys and NY Giants
• Always a Jeff Gordon fan, absolutely did not like Jimmy Johnson or Bush brothers
• Go Sharks!
• He may have been your opponent in fantasy leagues, he probably made you mad, as he rated high where he played.
Bryce, like many young people, was unsure of his future. He knew he wanted to help people and was set to start with his Certified Nurse Assistant certification this spring. He was very good with elderly people and hoped for fulfilling work helping them.
In addition to his parents, Bryce is survived by his maternal grandparents Vicki Thomsen and Bill Meyer of La Crescent, MN, maternal great grandparents Poppy Don and Gramma Joyce Malherek of Fairmont, MN. Aunt Leanne Thomsen of Lacrosse, WI, uncle Rob (Kate) Thomsen of Anoka, MN and uncle Jim (Bridgette) Thomsen of Los Angeles, CA and the cousins he held dearly to his heart Paige, Andy, Nick & Jake Thomsen, Carly and Sam Felten, Grace Olson, Emily and Joe Thomsen, Jeff and Tim Miller and Jacklyn Daniels-Nuttleman and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Harvey and Mary Joan Miller, uncle James Miller and his beloved dog Merle.
