Hi Bryce. Im laying here on the eve of the 8th anniversary of your passing, wondering what our lives would be like with you here. You truly were the closest thing that I had to an older brother. I miss your amazing sense of humor, and what a role model of kindness you were to me. You always found a way to be kind, even when people werent always kind to you back. Im sure this wasnt always the case, as you were human, but it was my experience for sure. You always treated me as a peer rather than an annoying kid, even though you were several years my senior, which i appreciated wholeheartedly. I am not sure where I am going with this, but i just miss you terribly and cant help but wonder what my life would look like with you in it. I know youd love my fiance, and I often think of you when he is playing Magic or working on his computer. I guess I just wish you were here.
Take care of grandma up there for me. Give her my love and endless gratitude.

I'm at a church retreat right now, and I can't stop thinking of you. I'm happy to know you are with God, along with Poppy and Grandma. I love you, and thank you for being a role model, both religious and as a person. I will never forget you, and I look forward to the day we'll meet again.

Hey Bryce, Its you're Bro Tim, I was close to you man, and we had so many good times together, from when i met you in middle school we instantly clicked and we had no idea the trouble we would get in or the fun we would have, from working at camp together or going camping or to the movie, what ever we did it was fun! I will never forget you bro, hard to forget you in shorts and a shirt and Birkenstocks when it is 19 degrees out haha. My Heart goes out to you Tom and Jill, you have always been good family to me and i will be here to stay in touch :)

I never got a chance to meet you, but I really wish I had.  Through conversation with your mother, I slowly started to get a sense of your interests and who you were.  The first story I remember her telling me was about you and your father taking a trip to a Warcraft convention I believe...  It was a playful story about the boys being out of town, but the father/son bonding trip was the best part and I could hear that in how she told it.  The last were stories about your future plans and how proud and happy she seemed.  I believe we probably had a lot in common and regret not following through with the urge to say, maybe your son would like to grab a beer or maybe play some tabletop games with us sometime?  Looking at your facebook page and what people who loved you have said, you had a lot of interests, so I'll pick one...every time I find myself enjoying Giants baseball, I'll make a point to raise a glass.  None of this makes sense, none of this is fair.

I did not know Bryce but I grew up with his mom Jill and I have a 23 year old. I cannot immagine how difficult a time this is. Your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I mostly knew Bryce as a child.  I didn't get the chance to know Bryce as a young adult.  But we did stay connected in cyberspace.  He asked me to be his friend on Facebook when he setup his account, and that was VERY cool.  We both loved the Sox, the Giants, the Sharks, and his parents, Tom and Jill.  RIP my young friend.  Say hi to Mary Joan and Merle for me!

Your mom, dad, grandma and family are very special people.  You are a product of a great family and it is a joy to get to know you this way -- without ever meeting you in person this side of heaven.  You are evidence that life does go on -- this earth is not all there is.  Your tender heart for people reveals God's imprint on your life.  This can never be taken away from us -- who you are.  I sincerely look forward to meeting you in heaven and in the meantime pray fervently for the ones who love you most here on this earth. My heart is with the family.  By the way Bryce was spoken of, I could feel the deep love his parents have for him.  He will be missed by so many.

There is so much that could be said about How awesome Bryce is.  He knew exactly what to say to cheer you up when you where down, sometimes it was a joke or him saying something in Russian that just made you laugh.  He did perfect that accent he practiced it at work with customers and friends at work.  Im going to miss playing WOW with him too, He always found ways to help make the game fun whither it was doing achievements for the heck of it or getting cool pets and mounts and then showing them off to me and to his friend Tim who also plays WOW.  he also like to show off the new gear he got too, which helped me to gear my Shaman too.  The Shaman was always his favorite character to play. He has cool eyes too, Have you ever noticed them change color depending on the light and his mood I always thought that was cool.  I will miss alot about him his smile always brightened my day the accent and the movies.  I still go to the movies alot but it was always more fun going with him and Tim.  I'm sry that my little girl will not get to meet him, but I will tell her stories of him and what a great person he was.  I know he is in good hands and is with our father in Heaven and that one day we will meet again.  God be with you Bryce till we meet again. Rest in Peace my dear friend.  My heart and prayers go out to your Family and Friends. You will be missed by all.

I didn't get the chance to meet Bryce but I feel like I know him from all the positive things his aunt LeAnne and her family have said about him. He was an extraordinary young man! The phrase, "If life throws you lemons, make lemonade." seemed to fit Bryce to a T. I can only hope I will be remembered the way he's being remembered by the people his life touched. My sincerest condolences to Bryce's entire family during this tough time.
