Carrie Phillips, 48, of Beaverton, Ore., passed away Nov. 29, 2015. She was born in Portland, Ore., on Aug. 20, 1967. Carrie graduated from South Salem High School and attended Western Oregon University and Portland State University.
Carrie worked in telecommunications for nearly 20 years, working for both Sprint and Comcast. She had a passion for friends, family, cooking, and wine tasting. She was an Oregon Ducks fan and loved football. She had a rescue cat Brody, and loved her late dog O.J.
She is survived by her mother Nancy Phillips; father Robert Phillips and stepmother Pauline Phillips; brothers Gary Phillips and Paul (Rachel) Phillips; niece Kayla; nephews Matt, Alex and Jordan.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at 12 p.m. at the Stockpot Broiler, 8200 S.W. Scholls Ferry Rd., Beaverton, OR 97008.
