Jim was a veteran of the Army and a long time member of the VFW. He retired from law enforcement as a police officer with the Cornelius Police Department.
Jim is survived by his wife Alice, his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be December 6, 2012, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., followed be a funeral service at 9:30 a.m. at Pegg, Paxson, & Springer Funeral Chapel in Beaverton; burial with VFW military honors will be at 12:00 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
