Jean Ruth Hagestedt

Jean Ruth Hagestedt, age 97, of Beaverton, Oregon passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023. Jean was born in Chicago, Illinois to Roy and Vera Harestad. Jean grew up in Chicago, in high school she met Bill Hagestedt. Jean and Bill married in Deming N.M. and later moved to Astoria. Together they had three children, Bonnie, Peggy and Bruce. In 1962, the Hagestedt family moved to Portland where they raised their children. Preceded in death by her husband Bill Hagestedt. Jean is survived by her children, Bonnie Dick (Jim), Peggy Hagestedt and Bruce Hagestedt (Beth); grandchildren, Tim Dick, Jeff Dick, Jason Ahlf, Ryan Ahlf, Kara Stone and Erik Hagestedt; and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held, Monday March 27th at 11am at Pegg, Paxson & Springer Funeral Chapel 4675 SW Watson Ave., Beaverton, OR 97005. With visitation one hour before service and reception to follow.
