When I did see her - she really was a girl that lit up with her smile and I am so happy I got to hear her laugh!

I’m deeply saddened to hear of your passing and I didn’t know the right words to say, I don’t think there are ever the right words really. The earth deserved your presence and everyone that has ever met you knows this. I’m so lucky to have met you in recovery, sharing the same experience of overcoming our addictions and facing the traumas that bind us to them. You’ve touched my life in incredible ways and the light of your laughter and love will always be with me to fill my heart. I am in recovery for you, me and anyone inflicted by the painful burdens of addiction. Love you always Maddie.

I saw you for the last time today. I haven’t seen you in person in some time … and I so wish this hadn’t been my last opportunity to do so.  Rest In Peace sweet girl. Watch over your parents from up above. You will be missed.

I played club and high school softball with Madi. We grew very close as we spent almost every waking moment together. Till this day, I have never met someone with a more electric personality than hers. She commanded the room with her smile and laugh. Her laugh is beyond contagious and will always be my favorite laugh. I have so many fond memories with Madi but what I will remember most is how much she loved. She was my biggest fan. She was always the first person to tell me how pretty I looked that day or how much she adored me. Our friendship was so unique and one I will cherish forever. Madi was her full self the second I met her. I always admired that trait of hers. She never changed for anyone else or cared what anyone thought. That is something that is extremely special and hard to find in a person. I wish I could go get dinner or Dutch with Madi one more time like we did in high school. She will forever be in our hearts. 

This is a picture of our daughter, Lorissa with Maddy and the other little girls at Julie’s. This is how I remember her. Such a sweet girl. My thoughts and prayers to her friends and most importantly her family. 

Maddy was the sweetest little girl. Our son Carter used to go to the same daycare as Maddy. I’m heartbroken to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her friends and family.

I remember this rambunctious ,beautiful  red headed little girl at baseball (her brothers)practices and she grew into a beautiful and talented young woman that loved life

You were an amazing bright soul. So full of life & laughter & loudness. Mado always knew how to make you laugh until your stomach hurt. She made me love playing the same sport that we played. Mado deserved the world & I hope she is at peace. I love you. 

Mado always knew how to light up the room with her bubbly personality. She would always have stories to tell when you would see her in the hallways or at practice. She was an amazing cheerleader and dancer and softball player.  You were such a beautiful and loving friend and teammate <3 

What a beauty! What an angel. I just seen her at the family reunion  in July. She came and kissed me on the cheek and said, “I will see you soon”.  I am so devastated as are the rest of the family……I can’t even come close to saying how I feel.. rest in peace sweetheart.

Man, oh man.  There is nothing that can be said, really, except I am very glad I got to meet this young person and be her librarian for the time she was an ACMA student.  Her smile was shy at first, but always genuine,  and with full eye contact.  She knew who she was, where she was going, and what she wanted to read on the way.  This world has lost a bright light, and I pray peace on her friends and family, especially her parents, most particularly her mom, Wendy, who I went to school with at Mtn.  View and Aloha.  I am so very sorry for your loss.

Madolyn will always be beautiful, full of laughter, a bundle of joy, and never boring.  Anything that made Madolyn laugh was always the greatest memories I've ever had (and she was always laughing).  We went from fourth graders who wore pajamas to school, to high schoolers who were inseparable.  One of my favorite memories was surprising Madolyn while she was cheering for Beaverton on her birthday.  It was 4th quarter and Beaverton pretty much already had the win.  While I was walking up to surprise her she saw me, stopped cheering, and we ran to each other to have the most priceless sister hug ever.

When we were little I didn't understand how important this friendship would turn out being.  Through 12 years of being friends with Madolyn it's taught me about what it looks like when someone truly cares and loves you for you.  We have learned a lot together, sharing the good times and bad, yet no matter what there has always been love.  

You are my sister always, my friend forever. 

My beautiful, smart, sassy, “Strawberry Girl” you are forever in my ❤️.  Your stubbornness and determination  led you to so much success. You were a fighter and when you put your mind to it, you could accomplish anything. You were a dancer, softball pitcher, a sally rally, a friend, daughter, sister, cousin, and a light in everyone’s life. I will always treasure our julie time, I wish we had just one more. I love you to the moon and back. RIP sweet girl you are an angel🙏

Madolyn Grace I love you so much. You lit up my life since the day I met you and for the rest of mine you will continue too. When I met Madolyn in 7th grade she was the sweetest girl with the most contagious laugh and my first friend at ACMA, we were inseparable. Mado was the one friend where we didn’t have to be doing anything, we could literally be laying on her bed and were perfectly happy. I remember when we started high school together and I was so excited to potentially have classes with her, but of course the staff probably knew better lol. Although we never had any classes together we were still best friends. I absolutely loved watching her learn to cheer and proving to herself something she thought she couldn’t! I am so grateful to have known her all these years. She has such a special place in my heart, and she will be on my mind everyday. 

I had the great pleasure of knowing Madolyn and coaching her in softball.  Her sense of humor cracked me up on a regular basis and I enjoyed watching her play, grow and progress.  She made an impact on my life and left lasting memories.
I will truly miss her.

Mado was in 4th grade when I became her softball coach. She asked me during one game: Coach, when are you gonna put me in to pitch?
Well, I was a little worried about that cuz Mado had a fast and hard pitch but it wasn't on target yet. She could (and did) hurt girls. So I told her: Mado, take one of those softballs home and you practice your pitching and then, we'll see. Well the next season's tryout came and I watched Mado pitch fantastically! I asked her mom: What did she do? And Wendy said: You! She went home with that ball and practiced every day. Made us come catch for her all the time.
Mado was determined. She wanted to pitch and she made it happen. She was my pitcher through Juniors All Stars! I continued to watch her through HS cheer and more competitive ball games. She was a good kid and would work hard when I tutored her in HS Algebra as well. I loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
