Scott was born on July 26, 1952 in Portland, Ore., to Jean and Howard Hughes and was the youngest of three sons. Scott was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his ex-wife Mary; brothers Bill (and wife Nancy) of Portland, and Gregg (and wife Janet) of Covington, Wash.; six nephews; and four great-nephews and nieces.
Scott graduated from Sunset High School and attended Portland Community College and Portland State University. After a long career at Textronics, Scott pursued his passion for antique cars and completed many beautiful restorations that he displayed at car shows around the northwest.
Scott will be remembered for his wry sense of humor and good heart and will be missed by friends and family. A private service will be held at Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary.
