She is preceded in death by her parents: James and Lucille Giltinan; brother, Robert Giltinan; unborn child and husband of 46 years, Richard Cummings.
She is survived by James Elwyn Cummings, Carrie Lynn Cummings, and Corinne Leigh Paulson, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Barbara was an avid knitting master and could crochet countless things such as hats, blankets, dishcloths, ect. She loved to teach others her talent and often would make her creations for family and friends and a plethora of volunteer organizations.
In fact, she was so talented she could simply look at a pattern and already know how to create it. She was also talented with the violin and once played at Chautauqua Institute in Colorado.
