Charles "Chuck" R. Lewis, age 59, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021. Charles was born on June 29, 1962 to the late Richard and Patricia. He graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1981. After high school, he attended trade school where he obtained his license to become an Electrician. Chuck has been practicing as a licensed electrician for over 40 years.
Chuck attended Lawrence United Methodist Church and he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Beech Grove. He loved going to Raccoon Lake, hanging out with friends and fishing. Chuck was a great dad, grandpa and partner. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Chuck is survived by his loving partner, Barb Drummond; children, Rachael (Kyle) Woods, Vincent (Stephanie) Lewis and Savannah (Adam) Lewis; grandchildren, Emerson Lewis and Kathleen Woods; and siblings, Leigh (Tim) McCall, Nancy (Don) Shockley, Rick (Angie) Lewis, Ernie Lewis, Carol Boyd, Bobby Jo Dolan, Judy Lewis Mates and Scott Lewis. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lewis and Patricia Frazee; and sister, Joyce Lewis.
A visitation for Chuck will take place on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main Street, Beech Grove, IN 46107. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 pm also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Moravian Cemetery in Hope, IN.
