Chester Earl "Skip" "Chet" Freeman

83, passed away June 28, 2015. He was born August 29, 1931 in Fairland, IN to the late Chester, Sr. and Lorraine (Gwin) Freeman. In addition to his parents Skip is preceded in death by his beloved wife Helen C. (Noone) Freeman. They had been married 67 years at the time 0of her passing. Skip is also preceded in death by his brother Russell Freeman, and sister Margaret (Freeman) Kent and granddaughter Stephanie C. Smith.

He is survived by his loving daughter Ellen Judd and son-in-law Jim Judd; grandson Michael (Brandy) Smith; great grandson Jacob Smith and great granddaughter Caroline Smith. He also leaves, to cherish his memory, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Skip was a self-taught musician and mastered the mandolin beautifully and regulary entertained at a local home and at the Bargesville Senior Center.

Chet retired from IPALCO in 1994 with 42 years of service and proudly served as a Union Steward with IBEW Local # 1395.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 1st from 4:00-8:00PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home Beech Grove Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday July 2nd at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial Calvary Cemetery.
