

George lived his life as a caring and kind-hearted man, always willing to help and support those around him in any way that he could. He had a very gregarious and fun-loving personality, which ensured that those around him were always entertained and having a good time. George worked tirelessly throughout his life to make sure his friends and family were well provided for. George loved the Chicago Cubs, music, working in the garden, cringe-worthy dad jokes, talking to complete strangers, and watching his grandchildren grow.
George was born in Gary, Indiana on May 10, 1954, to George H. Costley and Helena Costley. He married Robin, née Dault on Decс. 28, 1974. He graduated from the Wireman apprenticeship program at US Steel Corporation. He worked as an industrial electrician for 47 years. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Cynthia.
George is survived by his sons Joshua and his wife Stephanie, and Christopher and his wife Tiffany, his sister Kimberly Keilman, and his grandchildren Andrew, Gabriel, Harrison, Ronan and Lucу.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Mon. Sept 15, from 9 AM - 12 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home in Beech Grove, IN.
A Funeral Mass will also be held on Mon. Sept 15, starting at 1 PM, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove, IN with Fr. Bob Robeson officiating. The Altar Society will be hosting a Mercy Meal immediately following the Funeral Mass.
Memorials may be given to the Cancer Society. The family wishes to give their sincere thanks to the oncology nurses in the infusion center, the staff in the IBMT unit, family and friends for the support provided for the last 9 years. Because of each of you, he was blessed with the precious gift of additional time - time to enjoy his family and all the things he loved.
