Larry R. Collins, age 76, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday March 12, 2020. Larry was born March 24, 1943 in Kimball, West Virginia to the late Mary Hazel (Jones) Collins and Dee Bee Collins. He is also preceded in death by his son, Billy D. Collins. He was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and worked in the warehousing industry as a dedicated member of the team who would take on any assignment or fix any problem. He was a member of the American Legion and Eagles. He also owned the Country Corner Restaurant and Morgantown Country Inn for many years with his wife. Even though he was a laid back guy, he worked hard and was known as "Killer" by his coworkers. He enjoyed catching up watching the news and westerns when he wasn't working and loved his family and grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his wife, Toni (Tickle) Collins; daughters, Angela Alvarez, Diane Oats, and Janie Rush; sons, James Martin and Robert Gillespie; brothers, Donald Collins and Michael Collins; and many grandchildren.
Private family services are being held. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana.
