Lela Bernice Ford

Lela Bernice Ford, age 85, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Lela was born November 30, 1935 in Liberty, Kentucky to the late Mildred (Cochran) Stafford and Ellett Stafford. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Ford. Lela managed and owned several furniture stores with her husband Fred. She was former member of Eastern Star. She will be remembered as being caring wife, amazing mother, and grandmother who was known as a great cook and made sure anyone visiting always had something to eat. She was passionate about being involved and spending time with her grandkids. Lela is survived by her husband, Fred Ford; sons, Bob Ford (Cheryl) and Greg Ford; sisters, Mary Coppage and Jean Atwood; and grandchildren, Adam Ford, Braeden Ford, and Beckham Ford.
