Marguerite Mary Rihm

Marguerite “Peggy” Mary Rihm, age 65, of Beech Grove, Indiana, passed away surrounded by beloved family and friends on Monday, June 5, 2023. Peggy is survived by her cherished family, including her husband of 43 years, Mark Rihm; son, Joseph (Tasha) Rihm; daughter, Katelyn Rihm; sister, Donna Kay (Mike) Robinson; nieces, Christina (Jeff Samples) Jennings and Stacie (Jonathan) Moritz; uncle, John Healy; grandchildren, Abigail, Paisley, and Waylon, and great nieces, Catherine and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Green and her mother Carol Green (Healy). Peggy will be remembered as her kids, grandkids, nieces, and great nieces biggest cheerleader and fan; nothing brought her more joy than spending time with them, hearing what they were up to, asking about school and activities they were involved in, and watching them coach and compete in sports. She was an avid supporter of many Beech Grove and Tindley High School athletes and teams over the years; she enjoyed following the careers of coaches, teammates, and players of the teams her kids played on and coached for. When not at the ball fields or on the sidelines, Peggy lived for family vacations to Disney World and the beach, and looked forward to one day retiring somewhere sunny and warm. Her unwavering support, reassuring words, sense of humor, and kind heart will be dearly missed. Peggy was a graduate of Indianapolis Manual High School, class of 1976. She worked for Women’s Health Alliance for 15 years, and most recently was employed at Anthem for 23 years. Peggy treasured the many memories and friendships formed during her time at WHA and Anthem, and enjoyed staying in touch and catching up with “the girls.” The family would like to thank the staff of St. Francis Hospital and Grace on Wings for all their hard work, care, and compassion that was given during her treatments, transport, and at the time of her passing. They would also like to thank the many family members, friends, and Beech Grove community for their love and support. A visitation will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Little & Sons Funeral Home. Peggy will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208.
