Martha Lea Orman

She worked at Cross Plains State Bank until marrying Harold Wayne Orman on October 10,1951. He preceded her death by 16 years. Soon after marriage, she became a wonderful homemaker, a devoted wife and mother of three. Later a beloved grandmother and great grandmother. She was always known as the best mother in the world by her children.

Martha was a long time member of Beech Grove First Christian Church. She was very active in her children and grandchildren’s lives.

Martha is survived by her children; Jennifer L. Barratt, Janet O. (Jeff) Browning, David W. (Lori) Orman. Grandchildren; Ivan and Troy Barratt, Alexandrea Hathaway, Beau and Max Browning, Samuel and Charles Orman. Also, nine great grandchildren.

The family will have a small private service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Martha’s name may be made to St Paul Hermitage, 501 N 17th Avenue, Beech Grove, IN 46107.
