Mary Lucille Harwood

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 66 years Johnnie Harwood.

Mary is survived by her daughter Valerie Lynn (William) Chaney; and her daughter Barbara Sue (Jose) Ruano; her granddaughter April Calhoun, her grandson Brian Joseph Conway, her grandson William Joseph Chaney, her grandson Alex Ruano, her great grandchildren: Ethan, Collin, Quentin, Gage, Faith, Kaden, Harlee, Liam, and her great-great grandchildren: Miles and Riley.

Mary was very involved in her TOPS weight loss group for over 25 years, meeting her goal just before her passing. She was a member of Southwood Baptist Church in Beech Grove, Indiana and involved in their church quilting club and kitchen committee.

A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Southwood Baptist Church, 501 S 4th Ave, Beech Grove, Indiana, 46107, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Mary will be laid to rest at New Bethel Cemetery, Wanamaker, IN.
