Rita was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Walker, as well as her four sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her children: Patti (Paul) Jordan, Paula Walker, and John (Vickie) Walker.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Chris Walker, Carrie Pennington, Cortney Bastin, John Walker, Joseph Jordan, and Patrick Jordan. Additionally, she leaves behind great-grandchildren Kayla Gentry, Mason Pennington, Drake Walker, Zoey Walker, and John Walker, as well as two great-great-grandchildren, Hadleigh and Blakley Gentry.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Little & Sons Funeral Home, located at 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana, 46107.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes, located at 5333 E Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46219.
Rita will be laid to rest at New Palestine Cemetery, located at 5055 500 West, New Palestine.
Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
