Kind and giving, eccentric in an endearing way. That was my aunt Anna. When I was a child, because of her creativity, I have a lifelong fond & cherished memory of being on the show "Wonderama", because I was her "Argentinian nephew visiting from afar". Who else would go to that length to get the job done?! (There was otherwise a waiting list for the show years long, btw).
Then, still in my youth, during my first visit to see her (and family) when she first moved to Houston from NY in the late 1970's, she treated me like royalty, not just a loved nephew. She even bought me a royal robe with my initials embroidered on it. I had it for decades, always remembering where and who it came from.
There were difficult family times later in life, but none of them can ever negate or erase Anna's kindness and love from my heart. Forever missed and remembered always with love and tenderness.
