Catherine Johnson Sharp died October 23, 2013. She was born in Dallas, TX September 29, 1923. Moved to Houston in 1927. Attended Blessed Sacrament School and graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1940. Attended the University of Houston.
She was employed by Humble Pipeline for 13 years. She married Edgar Sharp Jr. in 1951 and had 62 wonderful years of marriage.
She is survived by her husband, two children, Sara (Charles) Hurley and Edgar (Margie) Sharp III; three grandchildren, Jason Hurley, Jessica Sharp and Megan Sharp; a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her brothers, Bernard, Edward and Joseph Johnson.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm with a Rosary recited Sunday, October 27, 7pm at Earthman's Funeral Home 6700 Ferris St., Bellaire, TX. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft, Houston, TX, 10:00am on Monday, October 28.
