She was born the youngest of 5 children to Suzi Silva Nunes and Joseph Nunes on July 8, 1924 in Oakland, California. She spent her early years in Oakland then, during WWII, moved to Reno, Nevada where she met and married her husband of 55 years, Bill Price.
She and Bill moved to Houston, Texas and lived in West University Place for 60 years. She was a homemaker and when her children were older, went to work at JMH , a neighborhood grocery store. She worked there for 35 years. She loved the daily contact with her friends and neighbors. She belonged to St Vincent Dr Paul Catholic church for 60 years and was involved in various ministries.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William L Price and 2 daughters, Linda Gallaway and Patti Abd. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Alexander, her son, Billy Price, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
