Elda C. Gonzales

Elda was born February 28, 1924 at San Pedro, NL, Mexico; daughter of Guillermo and Josefina Cavazos. Elda raised a family of seven (7). She was a professional seamstress since the age of 13 and enjoyed many friendships. Her deep faith in GOD allowed her to impact many lives.

She is predeceased by her parents and her husband; Belisario G. Gonzales. Her two brothers, Guillermo and Jose Americo Cavazos and her sister Emma Cavazos Garza. She is survived by her remaining siblings - Margarita Cavazos de Fernandez, Lilia Cavazos de Garza, Adalia Cavazos de Cantu and Homero Cavazos, and by her seven children; Maria Elda Delgado (Antonio), Belisario Gonzales Jr. (Alejandrina), Jose Enrique Gonzales (Blanca), Nelly Gonzales, Laura Nidia Jones, Horacio Gonzales (Rosalinda) & Violeta Donner (Thomas) and 13 Grandchildren: Jorge Delgado and Elda Isela Ford, Belisario II, Guillermo, and Alexisandra Gonzales, Andrea, Lynn, Adriana and Danielle Gonzales, Natalie Linman, Julio Gonzales, Erykca Dunlap & Christian Donner, and 16 Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends on September 13, 2013 from 6 – 8 pm, with a Rosary being recited at 7 pm at the Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris Street, Bellaire, Texas 77401. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on September 14, 2013 at 10:30 am, also in the Earthman Bellaire Chapel, with burial at Forest Park Cemetery 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077.
