Elizabeth Caroline Fulton died on February 27, 2011. She was born in New Orleans on June 26, 1928. Bettie grew up in a family of seven children. She was very close to her brothers and sisters throughout their lives.
Bettie met M. O. (Bill) Fulton and they married in the early 1950’s. They moved to Texas and made their home in Sugar Land for almost fifty years. Bettie was an active member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for many years. She always loved to dance.
Bill died in 2001 and soon after, Bettie moved to Houston and enjoyed a full life with friends and family. She was also predeceased by her son William, brother Joseph and sisters Mary and Janice. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Maureen and Paul Phillips. Her three grandchildren are Oliver, Patrick and Colleen. Through their childhoods BB picked her grandchildren up from school and carefully watched them grow up. She will be fondly remembered for her love of life and devotion to her grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 Earthman Bellaire Chapel.
