Emily Susil Thoede

Emily Susil Thoede ,99, passed away November 20, 2012. She was born in Fayette County, TX and lived most of her life in Houston. She was a homemaker and worked in the family business at Thoede Auto Supply. Emily was a charter member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She belonged to the Mothers Club of St. Thomas High School and St Agnes Academy. She also belonged to Polkas of America, SPJST Lodge #88. In addition to these organizations she also was a charter member of Fayette County Czech Heritage, Texas Czech Cultural Center. She was a member of Fayette Czech Singers and Dancers along with the Czech Heritage Center of Houston.

Emily is preceded in death by her husband John L. Thoede, her grandson Rodney Moudrt, and great-granddaughter, Sydney Vargo.

She is survived by her daughter, Johnelle Moudry and husband Edwin, son Russell Thoede and wife Deborah, daughter, Gloria Vargo and husband Claude; grandchildren, Sherry, Tim, Richard, Randal, Rebecca, Russell Jr., Christina, Dennis, Travis, Amanda; and nineteen great-grandchildren

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6800 Buffalo Speedway. The Rite of committal will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery. The Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers
