26 May, 1940 – 22 November, 2021
Felipe Huaringa passed away November 22, 2021. He was born in Huarochiri, Peru on May 26,1940 to Emilio Huaringa and Candelaria Aguirre. He left his native Peru and came to work in Houston in 1962. He planned to work for a few years, but Houston turned out to be his lifelong hometown. Felipe was a devoted uncle and brother. He constantly helped his parents and siblings back in Peru. He was known to play the guitar, help as a barber to close friends, and loved to listen to his “huaynos” from Peru. He was an avid soccer fan. He is most recalled for his patience and charisma with all his friends, siblings, nieces, and nephews. He was the uncle that would make you laugh, sneak you a piece of candy, and the one your pets ran to because of his fun spirit.
