Harold Ishee

Otho Harold Ishee, age 77, died Friday, March 5, 2010. He was born April 10, 1932 in Laurel, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Otho Ishee. Harold graduated from Laurel High School in 1949 and attended Jones Junior College until 1951. He then served in the navy for 4 years before electing to return and finish college where he graduated from Mississippi State in 1956. He married Marjorie Bryant in 1955 and had two children, Linda and Bill. He worked in various areas for Texaco in both New Orleans and Houston as an accountant for 34 years. He was actively involved in West University Baptist Church. Harold loved to serve his church and enjoyed being with his five grandchildren and his family.

Harold leaves his loving wife of 54 years, Marjorie, daughter Linda Rodekohr and her husband Rick, son William Harold Ishee and his wife Jennifer, grandchildren, Lauren, Kellie and Bryant Rodekohr, and Kennedy and Austin Ishee.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at West University Baptist Church, 6218 Auden, Houston, TX 77005. Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West University Baptist Church library.
