James Peter Michalec passed away on June 6, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mattie Belle Michalec. James is survived by his four children, Cora Michalec, Quintin Michalec, Mark Michalec and his wife Rose, and Peggy Michalec; sister Janette Michalec; brothers, David Michalec and Kenny Michalec; four grandchildren, Susie, Jarette, Morgan and Julia.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with Rosary at 7:00 pm, Monday, June 16, 2025, at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet St., Bellaire, TX 77401. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9900 Stella Link, Houston, TX 77025.
