

After a long battle with Parkinson Disease Jean Baker Moore, 81, died on October 24, 2012 in Houston, TX. Born in Montreal, Canada on May 17, 1931 to Arthur Teany and Ruby Hankins Teany. Jean is survived by her husband of 30 years, Donald Lee Moore; children, Bruce Baker and his wife Brenda Baker, Beverly Baker Raney and her husband Michael Raney, Brian Baker, and Brent Baker; grandchildren, Brandon Baker and his wife Anne Marie Baker, Ashley Baker, Katie Baker, and Megan Raney; great grandchildren, Bailey Baker, Brenner Baker, and Logan Ramsay. Jean was preceded in death by her late husband Leighton Harding Baker.
Jean attended nursing school in Canada, but spent the majority of her years as a loving mother and housewife. She was a true caretaker at heart and enjoyed taking care of those in need. Jean was a lady through and through with grace and her own personal touch of style. She was dearly loved by family, friends, and all who knew her. The family would like to thank all the friends and caregivers who helped Jean throughout her illness; especially, Roziena Toney, Sherry Davis, Elizabeth Flores, Cindy Villegas, and Dr. Jose and his wife Claudette Medrano. A special thanks also to Gentiva Healthcare for their professional healthcare services and support.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM followed by funeral services on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM; Both services will be held at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris, Bellaire, TX 77401. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a foundation or charity of your choice .
