Laura Elizabeth Hansen

March 17, 1986 – May 6, 2010

Laura passed away May 6, 2010 at the age of 24. She was the much loved daughter of Judith and Dennis Hansen, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Hansen of Harlingen, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman H. Hodges of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the goddaughter of Richard and Lystrena Jacob and Cissy Duane.

Laura’s other family members are Rod Hansen of Ft. Myers, Florida, Pamela Hansen, also of Ft. Myers, Ralph and Betty Galvan of San Antonio, and her cousins Jennifer Bean, Lisa Galvan and Patrick Galvan, and Kip and Patricia Johnson Hodge of Brownsville, Texas.

Laura attended Reach Unlimited Learning Activity Center, and was a 2008 graduate of T. H. Rogers School. She leaves behind a host of family, friends, teachers, and supporters who knew her bright presence and her winning ways.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Reach Unlimited, Inc., 12777 Jones Rd. Suite 103, Houston, TX 77077.
