Lenore Caplan

Lenore is survived by her brother Alan Kamion; her son Gary and his wife Katie Caplan; her son Jared Caplan and his wife Lisa; her two grandsons Adam Caplan and Jacob Caplan; her niece Stephanie Falkenhagen and nephew Michael Kamion.

She was born in New York to Evelyn and Harry Kamion along with her brother Alan and sister Mona. After her family moved to Houston, she attended Bellaire High School, the University of Houston, and Lamar University.

Lenore was well known for her grace, her unparalleled talent in design, and her fabulous ability to capture the room – wherever she went. A social butterfly, Lenore rarely ventured out of the house without making a new friend. She enjoyed spending time on the water, traveling the oceans and seeing the world. She deeply valued her family, especially when it meant spending time with her favorite grandsons.

A graveside service for Lenore will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Adath Israel Cemetery, 4714 Airline Drive, Houston, TX 77022.
