Mary is survived by her brother, C.G. Mata (Nina), her son, Paul “Randy” Barr, her daughter, Londa Barr as well as her stepsons, Darin and Randy Smith. She was very proud of her grandchildren: Tosha Ridgeway, Kaitlyn Monette, Bryce Barr Rowley, Kyle and Kedric Barr, Audrey, Dalton, and Rachel Smith. Mary is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She dedicated over 40 years of her life to law enforcement. She began as a Dispatcher and ended it as a Detective. She worked for Cleveland P.D., South Houston P.D., Bellaire P.D. and ended her career at Ft. Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
Visitation starts at 11 a.m., Monday, September 19th followed by the funeral at noon, and the burial at 2 p.m. Services are at Earthman Funeral Home located at 6700 Ferris in Bellaire with the burial at the Houston National Cemetery.
