Michael Sean Malone

Michael Sean Malone, 44, passed away peacefully at home in Houston surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 10, 2014 after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Born January 26, 1970 in Houston. Graduate of Dulles High School, he obtained a BBA at Texas State University majoring in Accounting. His professional career in finance and cash management started with NationsBank at age 18, followed by time with Washington Mutual, DHL, PreCash and finally Brinks U. S. where he was a Regional Operations Director, Money Processing.

Sean loved life, all people and made friends wherever he went in business and social settings. He loved to travel and to meet new people and learn about their cultures. All will miss his quick wit, beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and stunning blue eyes. Sean was a great son and brother who made every family gathering more fun.

He is survived by his parents Ann and Mike Malone, of Houston, his sister Terri Durham, of Galveston, his sister Molly Malone Kohn, of Richmond, Texas, and three nieces, Elizabeth Kohn, Trish Durham and Nicole Kohn, and one nephew Bart Hamilton.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 7, 2014, with Father Jay Walsh, CSB officiating, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77098. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
