

Emigró de El Salvador y trabajó como camionero. Posteriormente él y su esposa lograron el sueño de convertirse en dueños de negocios. Disfrutaba muchísimo del fútbol. Era aficionado del Real Madrid y le encantaba hablar de fútbol con todos aquellos que compartían su pasión por el deporte. Era una pasión suya que compartía con familiares y amigos y este legado perdura a través de su nieto mayor, quien también comparte su pasión por el deporte, Caleb. Después de jubilarse como camionero, se sabía que entablaba conversaciones con los clientes de la empresa. Se reía, hacía reír a los demás y disfrutaba muchísimo haciendo que todos se sintieran como en casa. Los últimos años de su vida los pasó con aquellos a quienes amaba, su esposa, sus hijas y sus familias. Los disfrutó muchísimo mientras creaba recuerdos y estaba de vacaciones con ellos. Experimentó muchas experiencias por primera vez, como observar delfines, y hacer cosas que le encantaban como sentarse cerca de la playa viendo jugar a sus nietos.
Información familiar: A Oscar le precedieron en la muerte su padre Adolfo, su madre Rosa Cruz y su hermana Antonia, a quien amaba como a una segunda madre. Le sobreviven su esposa Ana Cruz, sus hijas Angélica Urbina y su esposo Daniel Urbina y sus dos hijos Daniel y Danielita, su hija menor Jacqueline Grimm, su esposo Adam Grimm y sus 4 nietos, Caleb, Sofia, Abigail y Luke.

Oscar Cruz of Houston, Texas was born October 16, 1944, in San Salvador, El Salvador and passed away January 13, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.
He immigrated from El Salvador and worked as a truck driver. Later he and his wife achieved the dream of becoming business owners. He thoroughly enjoyed soccer. He was a Real Madrid fan and loved talking soccer with all those who shared his passion for the sport. It was a passion of his that he shared with family and friends and this legacy lives on through his oldest grandson who also shares his passion for the sport, Caleb. After retiring as a truck driver he was known to strike conversations with clients of the business. He laughed, made others laugh and thoroughly enjoyed making everyone feel at home. The last years of his life were spent with those whom he loved, his wife, his daughters and their families. He thoroughly enjoyed them while making memories and vacationing. He experienced many
firsts like dolphin watching, and doing things he loved liked sitting near the beach watching his grandchildren play.
Family Information: Oscar was preceded in death by his father Adolfo, his mother Rosa Cruz and his sister Antonia, who he loved as a second mother. He is survived by his wife Ana Cruz, his daughters Angelica Urbina and her husband Daniel Urbina and their two children Daniel and Danielita, his youngest daughter Jacqueline Grimm, her husband Adam Grimm and his 4 grandchildren, Caleb, Sofia, Abigail and Luke. He is also survived by his brother Jose Luis Cruz.
Visitation and Services will be Friday, January 17th, 2025, from 4-8 pm, in the chapel of Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home, 4525 Bissonnet St., Bellaire, TX 77401.
