Patrick died unexpectedly at home on December 13, 2015. He was loved by his family, a close circle of friends and his dogs. Born in Houston, he attended Mount Carmel High School, went on to the University of Dallas to major in Economics and then came back to Houston. Among other things he loved long talks and long walks, counting alligators at Brazos Bend State Park, and breakfasts with his dad.
He is survived by his parents James and Kathleen Haney of Houston, sister Charlotte Haney and her children Rowan, Samuel, Charles and Theodore, brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Barbara Haney and their children Robert and Johnathon.
A wake will be held at Earthman Bellaire, 6700 Ferris, Bellaire, Texas 77401 from 7-9 pm on December 17. A service at Holy Ghost, 6921 Chetwood, Bellaire, Texas 77081 will be held at 2 pm on December 18. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to: autismrescueangels.org.
