Paul John Schmitt, age 85, passed away May 14, 2013 in Plano, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Schmitt. Paul is survived by his son, Stephen P. Schmitt (Susan); daughters, Patricia A. Cooke and Theresa M. White (James); grandchildren, Matthew S. Schmitt and Christine Youngblood (George); brothers, Dan, Roman, Raymond, and Donald Schmitt.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2013, and Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 both at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 8200 Roos Rd., Houston, TX 77036. Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Paul to the Lone Star Chapter of National Hemophilia Foundation (www.lonestarhemophilia.org).
