

Pauline (Sipy) Aramendia Villejo, loving mother and grandmother, passed peacefully at home December 11, 2013 having lived her life fully. She was born in San Antonio, TX on July 19, 1933. She is preceded in death by her parents, Aurora and Primitivo (Pete) Aramendia, husband, Mario Villejo, Jr.; brothers Jim (Carol), Joe (Marie) and sister Aurora Williams. She is survived by her brothers Ted (Betty), Richard (Dyann), sister Joyce and brother-in-law, Dan Williams. And her four children; son Nick (Kathleen), of San Antonio, Louise of Houston; Sylvia of Austin; and Pete (Liz), of Boston, MA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Carlos, Elisa and Eva Calderon; Paul, Michelle, Xavi and Paulina (expected).
Her greatest joy was her family. She had a special bond with each of her children and grandchildren. She was a consummate mother/grandmother to her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and their friends as well. Everyone was welcome in her home and she took great joy in laughing and visiting with everyone.
A memorial mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9900 Stella Link Rd., Houston, TX 77025 at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 14th with a reception immediately following.
