It is with sadness that we mourn the passing on Sunday, June 11, 2023 of Ronald Miller, cherished husband of Nedra Miller; adored father of Nicole and Iser Cukierman, Shawn and Josh Mandel; beloved grandfather of Jordan, Carly, Shaili, Hannah and Levi.
Ron grew up in Toledo Ohio. He proudly served two tours as a member of the Special Forces in Vietnam and moved to Houston afterwards. He was quick to say he was not a hero, but others would disagree.
Throughout his life, Ron never met a stranger. In his final days Rons regaled his family with stories of his life and said “you never really die if those you hold dear remember you and speak your name in the future”. Ron’s memory and stories will live within all who knew and loved him.
A private funeral will be held at the Houston National cemetery.
