Steven R. (Richard) Shriver, 66, of Houston, TX, passed away February 17, 2014.He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 2, 1947. Steve graduated from The University of Kanas and received a Bachelor of Science from William Allen White School of Journalism. He was married to Eileen Key Shriver on July 12, 1997. Steve has a career in Technical Writing for various oil and gas companies. He was a member of The Society of Technical Communications (STC) and had a passion for music.
He was survived by his father Robert(Bob) Shriver, wife Eileen Key Shriver, Children Matthew and wife Marry Shriver, Joni Shriver, step-children Kirk and wife Amy, Rick and Erika Kato. Grandchildren Brendan and Addison Shriver, Abigail and Truman Curtis, Gavon, Zachary, Payton and Emily Kato, Aceson Hayden. Siblings Bob Shriver (Marcia), Carol Shriver, Joy and Mike Schuler, Jon and (Kara) Shriver, Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00p.m., February 22, 2014, at 1101 Bering Dr., Houston, TX.
