She is preceded in death by her parents, Clemens and Myrtle (Spreitlen) Stroh, her husband of 38 years, Robert J. Veath, who passed away February 15th, 2010, also one sister, Mary Ann Van Pelt and her husband, Harold Van Pelt.
Anna is survived by son, Rick (Sandra) Gauch of Belleville, Illinois, grandchildren; Amanda and Jeremy Gettelfinger, Ashley Halter, great-grandchildren; Grace Gettelfinger, Henry Gettelfinger, George Gettelfinger and Clara Gettelfinger, one brother, Michael (Carol) Stroh of Freeburg, Illinois and one sister-in-law, Loveen Veath, many nieces, a nephew, great nieces and a great-nephew and cousins. Anna is further survived by her grand-dog, Luci.
During her lifetime, Anna worked as a Medical and Radiology Transcriptionist. She had worked in the medical field for 38 years, 21 years in Civil Service at USAF Medical Center, 12 years at Memorial Hospital and 8 years at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Anna was a member of Assembly of God Church in Belleville, Illinois. She was an avid dog lover, and loved her dogs, Taco, Jose, Nina and Luci.
Funeral will be private.
Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
