Barbara Jean Crawford-Stuart (nee Klemme), 72, of Granite City, IL passed away at St. Louis University Hospital surrounded by family on December 11, 2021. She was born on December 31, 1948 in East St. Louis, IL to Marshall and Sarah Klemme.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Klemme and Sarah Klemme (nee Davy) and sister, Carolyn White.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 21 years, James Stuart; children, Brett (Angie) Crawford and Jamie (Brian and Tracy Hayes) Stuart; grandchildren, Dustin and Dalton Crawford, Isla, Ellie and James Hayes; plus numerous cousins and countless friends.
Barbara worked as a financial consultant and was a model in her younger years. She enjoyed the holidays, plus decorating, cooking and hosting events, but most of all, she loved spending time with her beloved family and friends. Barbara was an exceptional wife, mother and friend. She was a beautiful, kind spirited woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 101 S. Meyer Ave, Valmeyer, IL 62295 from 2 – 5 PM on Sunday, December 19th, 2021.
