

Chad was an incredibly dedicated Marine and a devoted family man. He was a Marine Corps Sergeant who proudly served his country for over 11 years and was deployed three times. When he wasn’t busy working, he treasured spending time with his beloved family and pets. He was a loving husband, stepfather, son, and brother who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Jurcich; brother, Josh Jurcich; father-in-law, Mark Pensoneau; and sister-in-law, Heather Pensoneau.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Tanya (nee Pensoneau) Jurcich, who he married in Belleville, IL on August 20, 2012; mother, Dawn (nee Meyer) Corbier; stepfather, Gary Corbier; stepchildren, Mark Bennett and Kasie Bennett; brothers, Daniel Jurcich, Rick Jurcich, Jacob (Eunice) Jurcich, Kyle Jurcich, Austin Corbier, Tyler Corbier, and Nathan Corbier; sisters, Annie Corbier and Mary Corbier; mother-in-law, Kathy Range, plus numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a great-niece, and his beloved pets.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, immediately followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Larry Ridenour.
Interment to take place on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. A formal procession will take Chad to his place of rest, starting at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chad’s honor can be made to the Belleville Humane Society, or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
