Dorothy S. Beltz

Dorothy Sager Beltz, 84, of Glendale, Missouri died peacefully at home on her birthday, October 21, 2010. She was born on October 21, 1926 in Paris, Tennessee. She was the ninth of ten children born to Algernon and Katie Erin Sager. Dorothy was a retired teacher from the Kirkwood School District.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 62 years, George W. Beltz, a sister and brother-in-law; Billie S. and John Jordan of Huntsville, Alabama, and sister-in-law, Doris Anderson of Marion, Illinois. She is lovingly remembered by son, George S. Beltz, and grandson, Connor J. Swan, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Beltz-Mohrmann and Al Mohrmann and their daughter, Gillian D. Beltz-Mohrmann of North Plainfield, New Jersey along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Webster Groves Christian Church, 1320 West Lockwood Avenue, Glendale, MO., with Rev. Jeff Moore, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Illinois. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:30 until service time.
